The River house remained visible in the background. String lights stretched overhead, and the open lawn gave guests room to gather, eat, dance, and celebrate. Everything belonged.

Walking toward the water together, with the groom carrying her dress and both of them finally able to soak in the end of the night, felt almost like an exhale. And instead of simply posing for a few portraits on the dock, the location actually became part of what happened next.
