Emily + James
February 15th, 2025, was a day full of sunshine, laughter, and the kind of love that could launch a thousand flights—fitting for a couple of Navy pilots who know a thing or two about navigating through life side by side.
Emily and James said “I do” beneath the swaying palms at the historic Queen and Grant in downtown Brunswick, Georgia. The venue, with its old-world charm and southern elegance, was the perfect backdrop for their timeless celebration. Emily looked radiant in a classic white gown that flowed like a dream in the golden light, her bouquet bursting with deep reds, snowy whites, and fresh greenery. James, dapper in a tailored navy suit, couldn’t take his eyes off her—even though he’s used to flying above the clouds, I think it’s safe to say she had him walking on air.
One of my favorite parts of their day was witnessing the way they looked at each other—like they were still standing on the tarmac for the first time. There’s a calm confidence between them, the kind that only comes from flying through storms and clear skies together.
From the first kiss under the palms to the last dance in the ballroom, every moment was full of joy, meaning, and beautiful legacy-building. Emily and James—thank you for trusting me to capture the beginning of your forever. May your marriage always be as steady as your takeoff and as breathtaking as your landing.
