Mason Family


Some stories are just too sweet not to share — and the Mason family’s is one of them.


When Kelsey told me she was expecting again, I think the whole island could hear my excitement. I’ve had the joy of photographing this beautiful family before, so getting to document another milestone in their journey felt like picking up a favorite book and discovering a brand-new chapter.


For this maternity session, we headed to Driftwood Beach — a place where the ocean breeze, twisted driftwood, and golden light create pure coastal magic. Kelsey looked radiant, the kind of glow that can’t be faked (and trust me, no filter could ever do her justice). We laughed, we chased the light, and we captured the tender in-between moments — Jacob’s giggles, the way her husband looked at her like she was the most beautiful woman in the world, and the quiet joy of a mama about to meet her newest baby.


This session wasn’t just about pretty pictures (though, believe me, they are stunning). It was about freezing a moment in time — before tiny toes and sleepless nights, before big brother’s first introduction, before life shifts into a whole new rhythm. The Masons’ story is one I feel honored to tell, and I know these images will be treasures for years to come.


Here’s to this sweet family of three, soon to be four. Your next chapter is going to be the most beautiful one yet.
